To book a school visit, please contact us via our online contact form or call us directly on +44 (0)113 245 0123. We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time. Our team will confirm your booking and send a pre-visit information pack for teachers and students.

School visits to Leeds Grand Mosque are offered free of charge. We believe that education and interfaith understanding should be accessible to all schools regardless of budget. We do welcome voluntary donations to help us continue running our education outreach programmes.

Students and staff should dress modestly for their visit. This means covering arms and legs. Female students and staff are requested to bring a headscarf to cover their hair whilst inside the mosque. Shoes must be removed at the entrance, so comfortable socks are recommended. Full guidance will be included in the pre-visit information pack sent to teachers upon booking.

A standard school visit lasts approximately 90 minutes to two hours, depending on the group size and programme selected. This includes the guided tour, the interactive Q&A session, and any additional activities. We can adapt the schedule to fit your school day — please let us know your timing requirements when booking.
