Our Mission
To empower our community through faith, education and welfare — providing a welcoming home for worship and a source of support for all who need it.
Serving families across Leeds and West Yorkshire since 1994.
Leeds Grand Mosque (LGM) is the largest mosque in Leeds, with a regular congregation of well over 2,000 worshippers. Since opening in 1994, it has grown into a cornerstone of the city's Muslim community — a place to pray, to learn, and to belong.
Beyond the five daily prayers, the mosque offers education for all ages, welfare and food-bank support for families in need, outreach to schools and visitors, and a warm welcome to anyone exploring Islam. Everything we do is rooted in service: to our congregation, to our neighbours, and to the wider city of Leeds.
